Privacy Policy

What data the site uses and why.

Simple Psych is a public reference website. It does not offer user accounts or ask visitors to upload clinical records, but like most websites it still generates limited technical and analytics data when people browse it.

What data is collected

When you load the site, the hosting provider and analytics tools may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, approximate location derived from IP, referrer, page URLs, and basic interaction events.

Simple Psych currently uses Google Analytics for site measurement. If advertising is activated later, ad providers may also receive technical request data needed to serve or measure ads.

The site does not currently provide user accounts, patient portals, or structured forms for visitors to enter protected health information.

How data is used

Technical and analytics data is used to understand traffic, improve page performance, identify broken pages, monitor abuse, and decide what diagnoses or support pages people are finding useful.

If ads are enabled, limited technical data may also be used for ad delivery, fraud prevention, frequency management, and performance reporting.

How data is shared

Data may be processed by infrastructure and measurement providers that help run the site, including Vercel for hosting and Google Analytics for traffic measurement.

Simple Psych does not claim to sell visitor personal information. Limited technical data may still be disclosed to service providers that help operate, secure, analyze, or monetize the site.

Data may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, or business transfer events.

Cookies and browser choices

Analytics or advertising tools may use cookies or similar technologies. Visitors can control many of those technologies through browser settings, privacy extensions, and Google’s analytics controls.

Because this is a public website, disabling cookies may not stop all server-side technical logging that is required to deliver pages securely.

Contact and updates

Questions about privacy or data use can be directed through the contact path listed on the Contact page.

This policy should be reviewed whenever analytics, advertising, forms, accounts, or data-sharing practices materially change.
